NOTE: this unit is 100% new but considered a blem (blemished) unit. This still has the lifetime warranty as new. This unit was purchased and installed, when the customer installed the belt, he determined that the pulley was bent in shipping, took it back off and we sent another unit. This unit never had power applied or was even used on the car. We replaced the pulley, tested it and offer it for sale now. There is only one, offered at a discount because the mount is scratched and cannot be sold as new. The pictures are the unit you will receive.
This is a very popular replacement where increased capacity is needed. This unit will increase the charging capacity at all RPM Ranges with NO modifications. The cobra applications rev high and fast, we have designed this to take the punishment. Be sure to do the pulley math before installing, there is a sheet in the box or we can help calculate the correct pulley as not to blow it up! 70 amps at idle (2000 alternator shaft rpm), 170 amps maximum (6000 alternator shaft rpm) Power wire IS REQUIRED!!
