Product Description
This is a very popular replacement for the 2005-2008 Mustang GT. It is the same size as the factory unit and will directly bolt up to application where the intake manifold have not been changed and a supercharger has not been added. Starting in 2005 the alternator was controlled by the PCM, this is compatible with the Ford computer and in some cases will eliminate the cam position sensor code error.
This unit will increase the charging capacity at all RPM Ranges with NO modifications. 80+ amps at idle (2000 alternator shaft rpm) 160+ amps maximum (6000 alternator shaft rpm) The stock belt can be used on original equipment vehicles
