Product Description
This is a substantial power upgrade alternator for your Shelby Mustang. It is the same size as the factory unit. This unit will increase the charging capacity at all RPM Ranges with NO modifications BUT the Upgrade Power Cable is REQUIRED due to the amount of output it produces. Stock cables will not safely carry the load. 100+ amps at idle (2000 alternator shaft rpm) 200+amps maximum (6000 alternator shaft rpm) The stock belt can be used on original equipment vehicles. Starting in 2005 the alternator was controlled by the PCM, this is compatible with the Ford computer and in some cases will eliminate the cam position sensor code error.
Applications: 2007-2008 Shelby GT500.

Best bang for the buck
Customer service was top notch! Very helpful staff and quick shipping. This alternator is priced very competitively and is a great upgrade. Definitely would recommend for your 07-08 gt500, don’t bother with the oem and parts store alternators.

200 amp Shelby gt500 alternator
Fast shipping! So far, so good. For the price, i hope it lasts longer than a year and a half like the last "new" alternator I had to install. It was not from PA Performance, and you get what you pay for.
