This is an upgrade option for all of our 4G Family Alternators
Select this to delete the Ford style circuit when ordering one of our units and we will install this regulator, or you can add it to your cart and install it yourself. The voltage set point is 14.6 vdc max.
As with any self-exciting regulator, you may need to rev or blip the throttle at start up to excite the unit and then normal operations will take over. Note – this part, as with all electrical component parts, is not covered under our lifetime warranty. Once installed it is not returnable.
NOTE: there are two designs - one has the yellow B+ the other has no wire or plug, the socket is empty. Both are interchangeable.
