RECENTLY ADDED FEATURE
We have added an optional W-Terminal or TACH pickup wire to this alternator. This option is only available on these “SE” Denso / dodge alternators that eliminate the PCM. When you select this option we will provide a tach lead for connection to a diesel specific aftermarket tach. This is only available at the time of assembly and older units are not physically eligible for retrofit.
The connection is simple, the wire is provided by us but does not need to be used if no tach is intended.
This will not work with factory equipped tachometers or ignition based tachometers, only a stator signal tachometer. (tach shown is not included)

Best alternator for a Dodge with a Cummins when the PCM no longer tells the alternator to charge bought one of these solve the problem if one goes bad all you do is call they take care of it hard to find a company like that anymore nice to know that they stand behind their product if I ever need an alternator for any of my other stuff definitely will be calling them
Installed this alternator on my 1992 W250. Very simple install, charges much better than the factory alternator-at a solid 14.7 volts. Puts out enough power that I can barely tell my grid heaters are running. Headlights seem brighter as well. I feel confident that my charging system is now as reliable as the cummins engine.
Best way to go if you have had trouble with your external voltage regulator in the past. Simple as can be to install with holes exactly where factory alternator goes and correct pulley. Little pricey but think of the long run. Charges great. Great product
I installed the product about 2 weekes ago and I've been extremely happy so far, no more charging problems, no more woorying about voltage regulators going at the most inconvient times. This altenator is great i recommend it to anyone with a 1st gen
