RECENTLY ADDED FEATURE
We have added an optional W-Terminal or TACH pickup wire to this alternator. This option is only available on these “SE” Denso / dodge alternators that eliminate the PCM. When you select this option we will provide a tach lead for connection to a diesel specific aftermarket tach. This is only available at the time of assembly and older units are not physically eligible for retrofit.
The connection is simple, the wire is provided by us but does not need to be used if no tach is intended.
This will not work with factory equipped tachometers or ignition based tachometers, only a stator signal tachometer. (tach shown is not included)

It is so nice to finally have 14 volts all day long. I was constantly replacing voltage regulators in my old dodge. I even installed a relay before the regulator that supplied actual battery voltage. But it never solved it. So I pulled the trigger on this bad ass unit, it’s been 2 weeks and 5,000 miles with zero issue. It just works. Installation was super simple and went right in. Had this alternator on my 1999 Ford F-250 with a 94 poverty pump 12v worked flawlessly till the hot wire stud stripped out, ordered a new one with the tach wire and it’s been just as good. Waiting on a alternator tach gauge so I’ll have a working tachometer.
This was awesome I had a huge problem with the charging issue and couldn’t figure it out and this saved me from a huge rat nest of wiring and this worked great!
Original alternator stopped charging but regulator still showed voltage. Read a bunch of stuff online about the regulator in the pcm going out and using an external one but that those need to keep being replaced. So I am saving money by spending money on this Paperformance 1 wire alternator with its lifetime warranty. I never have to worry about paying for a new alternator or the voltage regulator, or getting a expensive pcm. Followed instructions in box and video on paperformance website. Took an hour to install and had voltage immediately on start up. My 12 valve Cummins is now closer to a 1 wire fire thanks to paperformance.
Installed easily with no modifications. Taped up the unused tabs and reinstalled the factory battery wire, works perfect. Much better that replacing the external regulator all the time.
Cummins swapped my 1986 K30. This alternator works amazing! Installs just like factory, the wire for the tachometer worked great too. I am unhappy that it cost almost $400 w/ shipping and I didn’t get a sticker for my tool box to add 100hp

I used this on my cummins swapped f250, that had issues with overcharging and then undercharging. After installing this alternator all of my charging issues were gone. Easy to install. Functions great. It is a bit costly but in my situation it was definitely worth the cost
