PMGR ''Mini'' or Hi-Torque Starter w/wire kit (1806)
This Ford Style Mini-Starter is an “Upgrade” for most applications prior to 1993. At only 8.5lbs (vs. the 18 lbs. stock field wound starter in those early years) it often reduces weight almost 50% and requires less cranking amps. In the vehicles where it is a direct replacement there are no changes or modifications needed. Because of its very small size it potentially increases header clearance and reduces the effects of “hot start”. This starter works well on higher compression engines and is in use with customers on 12.0:1 compression applications. Includes the conversion wire kit for “Upgrade Applications” and for “Direct Replacement” applications this kit is included but not used. All starters are 100% new, tested prior to shipping.

Great Starter Retro fit into my 67 Fairlane 289 gives me more Header clearance and starting power.

Instructions super simple And installation easy
Bought it for my 93 Cobra. You will need to change the connector on the small solenoid wire but not an issue. If your vehicle is 92 or older they include the wire you'll need for the solenoid that's connected to the new starter. Cranks over super fast. Love it.
